CELEB ZONE BASICS


Welcome to our Celeb Zone basic training page. Please read this page thoroughly and if you have any questions please reach out to the Celeb Zone Director.

CELEB ZONE EXPECTATIONS


In addition to the Volunteer Guidelines Celeb Zone Team have some additional important expectations.

• Be kind and courteous to Guests, Attendees, and Staff at all times.
• Be on time for your shifts.
• Assist Special Guests with cash handling, and any show related needs. (Get them to panels, lunches, breaks, etc).
• Proper Cash Handling and Reporting of Sales.
• Do not be a SUPERFAN with guests. Be friendly and helpful, but don’t inundate the guest with questions.

The biggest NO NO is: DO NOT ask the guests to sign free stuff for you.

We ask that everyone in Celeb Zone wear BLACK POLO and have your Crew Badge visible at all times.

TALLYING



We try to keep the tally sheet as simple as possible, but if you have any questions speak with Celeb Zone Director ahead of the show.

Guest: The Guest Name
Staff Name: Your Name
Show: SCC
Date: The day’s date

Cash Box Start: Your starting cash for the day

Fill these out as reminders:
Panel Time and Lunch.
Lunches don’t have to be taken at a specific time, but be sure to write down when they go to lunch.

Item
Examples: Autograph, Selfie, Auto & Selfie Combo, Auto & Funko, etc.

What they are charging

Tallying
In each box below the item put an X for a cash sale, and a C for credit card sale.

EOD $$
This is the END OF DAY total for that item

Daily Total
This is the grand total of all EOD totals

REMINDERS:

Never keep your cash till or bag unattended. At the end of the day discuss with talent if they want to take their cash with them or have it locked up at the venue.

Always ask for someone to walk with you when transporting cash.

END OF DAY TALLYING IN THE GREEN ROOM. CELEB WILL HAVE OPTION TO TAKE CASH WITH THEM SATURDAY.

CELEB ZONE LINE TAPE

In front of each Celeb table tape is put down to divide up the line and keep it organized. A “fast lane” for those with VIP badges. A section for regular attendees in the center. And an aisle to exit. 

CODE BANANA


Discuss with the Special Guest that if they ever feel uncomfortable with an attendee to “Ask for a Banana”. At which point, you should quickly get them to the green room and discuss with Celeb Zone Director what actions to take.
